  • Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Text messaging privacy

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the messages described in our Terms of Service.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not include the texting service provider that sends our messages on our behalf, which may only use your number to deliver them.

4. We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for money or anything else of value.

5. How we share information

We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed:

They may use your information only to provide their services to us.

  • Veterinarians or emergency services, if needed for your dog's health or safety while in our care.

  • Legal and safety reasons, if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, dogs, team, or others.

  • A business transfer, if Tahoe & Co is sold or merged, in which case your information would remain protected under this policy.

6. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

8. Nevada privacy rights

Nevada residents may submit a verified request asking us not to sell their covered personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you may still send a request to our designated request address: tahoeandco@gmail.com, with the subject line "Nevada Do Not Sell Request." We will respond within 60 days.

9. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, keep accurate client and consent records, and meet legal and tax requirements. When it's no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including trusted service providers and limited access to client records. No website, email, or text service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

The Website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Website may link to other sites, such as Google, Instagram, and TikTok. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their practices.
