Training Services Agreement
Board & Train Services
The purpose of the Board & Train Program is to accelerate obedience training and behavior modification while providing the Client with the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain the dog's training after the program is complete.
By enrolling in a Board & Train Program, Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Trainer will take possession of the dog on the scheduled intake date and return the dog upon completion of the agreed-upon training program.
Training will be conducted at Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions' training facility or approved training locations throughout the Las Vegas area.
Trainer will use professional training methods and make every reasonable effort to achieve the Client's training and behavior goals.
Because every dog learns differently and long-term success depends upon continued reinforcement, no guarantees are made regarding specific behavioral outcomes or training results.
Client understands that successful training requires consistent follow-through. Client and all members of the household agree to follow Trainer's instructions, practice the recommended exercises, and reinforce the dog's training on a daily basis.
Private Training Lessons
Private lessons are designed to teach the Client how to effectively communicate and work with their dog.
By scheduling private lessons, Client agrees:
Lessons are provided on an individual basis and focus on educating both Client and Dog.
Lessons may take place at Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions' facility or another mutually agreed-upon location.
Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help Client achieve training and behavior goals but makes no guarantee regarding the dog's future performance or behavior.
Client understands that consistent practice between lessons is essential and agrees to complete assigned training exercises.
Lesson packages must be used within twelve (12) months of the purchase date. Unused lessons expire after one year and are not refundable or transferable unless otherwise approved by Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions.
Payment, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Payment
Payment is due in full prior to the start of services unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.
All payments are considered earned upon receipt.
Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions does not provide refunds for training services.
Training fees, boarding fees, and service prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Private Lessons & Seminars
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice
Missed appointments
No-shows
may result in forfeiture of that lesson or session without refund.
When cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, store credit or rescheduling may be offered at the sole discretion of Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions.
Board & Train & Boarding Programs
A minimum of 30 days' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any Board & Train or boarding reservation.
Cancellations made with fewer than 30 days' notice or failure to arrive on the scheduled intake date may result in forfeiture of payment.
Store credit may be issued for cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled start date at the discretion of Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions.
Liability
Client understands that working with dogs involves inherent risks.
Client agrees to assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, losses, expenses, or claims arising from participation in training or handling of the dog.
Trainer reserves the right to terminate training services if:
the dog presents an unreasonable safety risk,
the dog's behavior prevents safe training,
the Client fails to follow Trainer's recommendations, or
the Client breaches this Agreement.
This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties and supersedes all previous verbal or written agreements.
No verbal statements, representations, or guarantees regarding training results shall modify this Agreement.
Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Client and Trainer.
Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Release of Liability
Client understands that participation in dog training activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Obedience training
Behavior modification
Leash work
Off-leash training
Socialization
Agility and confidence-building exercises
Scent work
Tracking
Environmental exposure
Field trips
Boarding activities
Any additional canine training activities offered by Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions.
Client voluntarily chooses to participate and assumes all known and unknown risks associated with these activities.
Client agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, landlords, and agents from any liability for injury, illness, property damage, financial loss, or death resulting from participation in training services, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Client further agrees to indemnify and defend Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions against claims brought by third parties arising from Client's participation or ownership of the dog.
Should emergency veterinary care become necessary while the dog is in Trainer's care, Client authorizes Trainer to obtain appropriate treatment.
Client agrees to be financially responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all dogs, Client certifies that their dog will remain current on all required vaccinations for the duration of services.
At minimum, dogs participating in boarding or Board & Train programs must have current:
Rabies
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Additional vaccinations or parasite prevention may be required depending on the services provided.
Proof of vaccination must be submitted prior to the dog's arrival.
Photography & Media Release
Client grants Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions permission to photograph and/or record video of Client and/or Client's dog during training.
These images and recordings may be used without compensation for:
Social media
Marketing
Advertising
Educational materials
Print publications
Website content
Promotional campaigns
Client understands that no royalties or compensation will be provided for such use.
Transportation Authorization
Client authorizes Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions to transport their dog when necessary for training, field trips, veterinary care, emergency situations, or other approved activities.
Client understands that transportation involves inherent risks and releases Tahoe & Co Canine Solutions from liability for injuries or damages occurring during transportation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
