Who We Are

Lilli Kreck

Owner & Head Trainer

Dog training isn't something Lilli Kreck picked up later in life. It's something she was raised inside of.

She grew up around hunting dogs, immersed in a family that trained and competed with animals as a way of life. Hunting trials. Rodeo weekends. High standards were never optional. They were just how things were done. That competitive, no-shortcuts environment shaped the way Lilli would eventually approach every dog she trained.

Finding Her Own Path

When Lilli got her first dog of her own, she didn't want to just own a dog. She wanted to push herself. She chose a rare breed and set her sights on titles and accomplishments that hadn't been done before within it.

That ambition led her straight to the source: she began working multiple times a week with a national competitor, putting her hands on as many different dogs and breeds as she could access. The goal wasn't to become skilled with one type of dog. It was to build a genuinely rounded foundation across all of them, rather than limiting herself to a single breed's temperament and needs.

Raising Puppies, Shaping Futures

Lilli went on to puppy-raise for her breeder, developing dogs bound for very different futures, show dogs, protection dogs, and companion dogs headed into everyday family life. Somewhere in that stretch of work, puppyhood became her favorite stage to train. It's where foundations are built, habits are formed, and the earliest version of a dog's future temperament starts to take shape.

Training Across the Country

Lilli's training didn't stay in one place. She sought out mentors across California, Nevada, and Arizona, working with an incredible range of dogs, from personal protection and police-style training to shaping the perfect, polished social companion for high-profile clients around the world.

That work has taken her further than she ever expected, including preparing one of her dogs to be part of a wedding in the Dolomites.

Her Approach

For Lilli, training doesn't stop on a set date. It follows your dog through every stage of life, growing and changing as your dog does.

Just as important: she teaches you. Lilli wants your dog to listen to you, not just her. So she'll show you how to read your dog and handle problems yourself. That way, she's a resource you can call on, not a crutch you depend on.

Tahoe & Co

A message from the Founder:

Tahoe was my first personal dog as an adult, and he gave me the reality check I didn’t know I needed.

By the time I brought him home, I had already been training dogs professionally for years. I thought I had a solid understanding of what made training successful- until Tahoe challenged nearly everything I thought I knew.

He taught me that truly good trainers don’t force every dog into the same system. The ability to adapt your approach between a hard, powerful dog like Tahoe and a soft, sensitive dog requires experience, humility, and a willingness to keep learning. Tahoe demanded that I develop that skill.

More than anything, he showed me the value of investing in the relationship before expecting results. The strongest training isn’t built solely on obedience. It’s built on trust, communication, and mutual understanding.

Together, Tahoe and I went on to compete in the sport of PSA, accomplishing a goal I had set long before owning him. At the time, no Beauceron had successfully earned a PSA title. By the time we stepped onto the trial field, a handful had attempted it before us, but Tahoe became the youngest Beauceron to earn a PSA title. Since then, he has gone on to become the highest-titled Beauceron in PSA in the world.

My business is named after Tahoe because of the profound impact he had on the trainer I became. The “& Co.” represents every other dog that has contributed to that journey. Each one has taught me something different, challenged me in new ways, and made me a better trainer.

After all, a great trainer knows far more than just their own dog.
